Derby man sentenced for sexual offences involving a minor

A man from Derby has been sentenced after appearing at Nottingham Crown Court for a series of serious sexual offences involving a child.

Lloyd Davies, of Derby, was convicted of:

• Communicating sexually with a minor

• Attempting to cause a minor to watch sexual acts

• Possessing extreme pornography

The court heard details of the offending during proceedings at Nottingham Crown Court.

Davies was sentenced to 15 months’ imprisonment and was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.

The case was dealt with at Nottingham Crown Court, where the sentence reflected the seriousness of the offences and the risk posed to children.
